Daily-Ness of Art Party here at the Laundry Line Gingko Biloba on Saturday April 3, 2010

Gingko Sketch 4:3:10 070

DSCN0179

As you can see, I captured only the very base of this grand tree.
This week, in honor of our “Daily-Ness of Art” workshop on April 10 at Berkshire Art Kitchen, I will be posting evidence of the art I am making every day. Some days, it may be dinner you see…but stay tuned for this week of art on a daily basis.

What about you?
This sketch was made on Saturday.
I better show you what I did today.

This is the first time that I’ve stumbled onto your blog and I love the tree painting – in fact, I’d rather look at it than the photograph.

    Dear Tammy!
I am so thrilled to find you here. I just read your site. I am thrilled even more to find so many similarities in our stories. I honor your health and well being and writing. I will link your site to mine. I belong to Indian Line Farm where the CSA movement began in South Egremont Massachusetts! I hope to see you again soon here at the Laundry Line. Where do you live? Any chance you can come to our “Fe-Mail” events on Saturday April 10? Check out the press release on the page bar at the top of this site. Love and thank you for your kind words! S

I like your celebration of art. Yes. Very much. Most of my art is simply my blog. Photos. words. Tossed together. Add a little doodle and stir. Oh, and the base of the tree is magnificent. ‘Tis truly.

The Ginko is one of my favorite trees ever since I learned the factoid about their primordial staying power! Your sketch and photo of the same subject are divine.
I also have been in the DAILY-NESS of art making fast collages with “Smart Women” post cards- that say things Like” Smart women tell it like it is!” & “Smart women get to the Point”. The use of those itty bitty paper trims and daily papers like tea tags and Riccola wrappers that I save everywhere turns out to be absolutely perfect for this scale…

Hey, I am about to get gluey too. Love you. Just sent a mailing to a bunch of hopeful movie attendees. Now the system is telling me the darn thing is too big. Gulp. Love you and this sunny day! S
