What Do Mothers Make? Revolutions

Out of the Mouths of Babes writers are revolutionaries.

The work that is done, telling truths from inside motherhood, paves the way for others to do the same.
We all have mothers.
As women, our creative juices flow around whatever we make.
Engaging with real life makes more authentic creation possible and makes joy inevitable.

“If something inside of you is real, we will probably find it interesting, and it will probably be universal. So you must risk placing real emotion at the center of your work. Write straight into the emotional center of things. Write toward vulnerability. Risk being unliked. Tell the truth as you understand it. If you’re a writer you have a moral obligation to do this. And it is a revolutionary act—truth is always subversive.”

I dream about the day when you all can be part of Out of the Mouths of Babes live and in person. Until then, thank you for reading us all here, for sharing this work of writing
from inside motherhood
with others and for risking
vulnerability, daily.

Bravely,
Yours,

S
